Prodigal 2020.001.jpeg

Pastor Michael takes a look at the story of the Prodigal Son in Luke 15:11-32. In this story he points out that we are all like one of the two sons and regularly lose sight of what is most important. However, Jesus shows us that we have a loving Father in God who never stopped loving us and will immediately accept us regardless of our past if we will just return to Him.

On Sunday, Pastor Johnathan looked at 1 Kings 18 to show that God desires to reveal his glory in a way that changes our hearts. In this passage we see that faith in God that does not cover every area of our lives is not faith at all. Also, only God can answer our prayers and he does it in a way that brings glory to himself and turns our hearts to him.

On Sunday, Jordan Floro looked at 1 Thessalonians 3 to show that all affliction is moving us. The question is whether it is moving us closer to God or further away. Everything - even our suffering - is for God's glory and our good.

Easter 2022.001.jpeg

On Easter Sunday Pastor Michael looked at the disciples on the Road to Emmaus in Luke 24:13-35. In this text we can see a lot of ourselves in these disciples as they wrestle with doubt and defeat after the crucifixion. However, we find hope in Jesus' victory in the Resurrection and Jesus' continual pursuit of us!
