Romans 1:1-17

Pastor Michael begins a new series in Romans in which he focuses on the hope that we have in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the truth that the Gospel is for ALL people. In Romans 1:1-17, he addresses the truth that God has a purpose and a plan for all people. Ultimately that plan is centered on knowing Jesus and growing in our relationship with Him. When we do this, we see that this leads to an unashamed enthusiasm to share Jesus with people in our neighborhood all over the world.

Romans 1:16-32

Pastor Michael begins a new series in Romans in which he focuses on the hope that we have in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the truth that the Gospel is for ALL people. In Romans 1:16-32, he addresses that because of creation, all people know that there is a creator but all people by nature will reject him. Therefore like Paul, we ought to be unashamed and have urgency to take the Gospel to everyone!

Romans 2

In Romans 2, Michael shows that God has written His law on our hearts yet we continue to break that very law continuously because we are all born with a sin nature. He then urges us to take serious the reality that we all need a Savior and that we have a responsibility to share this hope with others!

Romans 3:1-20

Pastor Michael continues a series in Romans in which he focuses on the hope that we have in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the truth that the Gospel is for ALL people. In Romans 3:1-20, we see that we must have a right view of ourself. This right view of ourself can only come when we have a right view of who God is. This can lead to a new life that is found in Christ!

In Romans 3:21-31, we see that we must first acknowledge that we've broken the standard. Then we can receive God's second chance and then share the good news with those around us.

In Romans 4:1-25, we see that God always keeps His promises and provides a way to salvation. Pastor Michael also takes a look at the story of Abraham in Genesis 12-22. Throughout the Old and New Covenants, we see that God always keeps His promises. God provides salvation for all who live by faith in God.

Romans 5:1-11

Pastor Michael continues a series in Romans in which he focuses on the hope that we have in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the truth that the Gospel is for ALL people. In Romans 5:1-11, we see that even in trials we can have hope because of the completed work of Christ on the cross. God is using even the hard things in our life for a great purpose for His glory and our good.

Most importantly, we have hope because God has provided salvation and He will never give up on us!

In Romans 7:1-25, we see that as Christians, we are not wedded to the law but we are wedded to the Savior. Every inch of our bodies is affected by the curse of sin but in Christ every inch of our bodies has been redeemed by the Savior.
