Home Worship - July 5, 2020

Worship videos available the night before at 7pm

This week we will be having our 4th of July church picnic at Queensbridge Park on Sunday, July 5, 2020 from 11am - 1pm. Make sure that you bring your own food and drinks. We also ask that you wear a mask when possible and make sure the follow best social distancing practices.

For those of you who are unable or uncomfortable with meeting at our church picnic, please enjoy the worship music below and a short message from Pastor Michael that focuses on true freedom that is found only in Jesus Christ.

If you or your family would like some songs to worship to and sing along with, we have created a playlist with youtube links to lyric videos:

  1. One Thing Remains

  2. 10,000 Reasons

  3. Jesus You Alone

  4. O Come to the Altar

Message from Pastor Michael:

Suggested Questions for discussion:

  1. What parts of today's message encouraged you the most today? Why?

  2. In what ways were you most challenged by this message? What do you plan to about these convictions?

  3. What freedoms are you most thankful for in this season?

  4. What are some practical steps that you plan to take moving forward as it relates to today's message?

Prayer Points:

  1. Pray that Christians from all walks of life from across this city and across this nation would rally together in unity to be the hands, feet, and mouthpiece of God..

  2. Pray that we would be faithful to Love God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength and to love our neighbor as ourselves.

  3. Pray that as Christians, we will live by the example of Jesus to love others unconditionally and serve them as He served others.

  4. Pray that our churches and the churches across the nation will be faithful to press into the work of justice and standing up for the oppressed and marginalized.

This week we will not have a new story. If you wish to go back and watch one of our previous Bridge Kids Stories, click HERE.

For family time, continue to go over John 14:6, Psalm 136:1, and Colossians 3:20. This week, we will begin working on memorizing Proverbs 3:5 which says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding."

If you would like some suggestions for fun and upbeat songs that your kids can worship and dance to, make sure you check out our Bridge Kids Worship Library that can be found HERE.

We also have several more stories from the Jesus Storybook Bible that can be found by going HERE.
