During this unprecedented time, we want to challenge you to take advantage of this opportunity. A few ways you can utilize this time to grow in your relationship with the Lord is as follows:

  • Read through a book of the Bible (since we have been in the Gospel of Luke, start there)

  • Take time to grow in the area of prayer by setting aside time each day to talk with God.

  • Begin to commit some of God's Word to memory. Start with a verse like John 3:16 or John 5:24. If you would like a list of suggested verses to begin memorizing, you can download our Scripture Memory Document HERE.

During this time, you might find yourself feeling alone, isolated, or even anxious and fearful. We want to provide you with a few ways to stay connected in the days ahead. Here are a few ways to stay connected:

  • Share any prayer needs you have by emailing or by clicking HERE.

  • If you need someone to talk to or text with, we are available to help and will respond within 24 hours. Email us at with your name, age, and contact number.

  • Watch our daily 60 Seconds of Hope videos for some encouragement and practical steps to find hope each day. For more info on how to find these videos, click HERE.

  • Watch our Fight or Flight Series on Wednesdays and Fridays at Noon. Click HERE to learn more and to watch.

  • LOOKING FOR A WAY TO WORSHIP ON SUNDAY? Check out our Home Worship page that will be updated every Saturday night!

If you or your family is high risk OR you are on the front lines and you need help during this time, we are offering delivery services for groceries or other basic needs.  Please email with a list of your needs and your address and we will be happy to pick up the items needed and deliver them to your door for only the cost of the items on your list.

NOTEThis is a cash only system at this time. Make sure you let us know the maximum amount we can spend on your list and we will collect money upon delivery. At this time we are only able to help with the financial and physical needs of active members within our church.

We have been blessed by opportunities to serve members of our church, our community, our local police precinct and two local hospitals - Mt. Sinai Queens and Elmhurst Hospital. You can serve alongside us by financially giving, sending supplies, and through your prayers.

To give specifically during this time, go to our giving page and select “Covid-19 Response”. All donations with that designation will go to one of the following needs:

  1. Meal for the local police precinct - $500

  2. Snacks for a local hospital department - $150

  3. Gift cards for a hospital department - $250 (10 $25 cards)

  4. Groceries for a small family - $100

  5. Groceries for a large family - $200

  6. Congregational care - $50 gift card for a family

  7. Serving MTA workers - $20 gift card to encourage individual workers

  8. Providing Meal for MTA Bus Depot - $1,000

Because of the generous donations from so many and the slowly improving situation here in NYC, we no longer need anymore supplies at this time. If there is something that you would like to donate or send, please contact us at before sending any items for distribution.

Thank you for continuing to be a part of the work here in New York City!

Most everyone has found that they now have more time on their hands. We encourage you to spend some of that time praying over these requests.

  1. Pray that many will come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior and that the kingdom of God would expand.

  2. Pray that our leadership team will have wisdom and unity on how to best continue to serve our church family and our community.

  3. Pray for financial provision for those who are not able to work right now and are wondering how they are going to provide food for their family.

  4. Pray for the spiritual growth of our church family during this season.

  5. Pray for physical health and protection.

  6. Pray for financial provision for our church.

  7. Pray for those from within our church that are on the frontlines through health care and public transportation jobs.
