Home Worship - April 12, 2020 Easter
This week are looking at the Resurrection of Jesus Christ in Luke 24 with an emphasis on Luke chapter 24 verses 46 and 47. Make sure to read Luke 24 on your own time for further study and encouragement.
This week's home worship video has two parts with the first part having testimonies, scripture reading, and worship led by friend of Pastor Michael, Chris Simmons. Part two will have a message from Pastor Michael and will also have a time of prayer where there will be 4 prayer prompts that come up and will last for approximately 2 minutes each at which time there will be a chime to indicate a new prayer point is coming up.
Also, make sure you watch till the end to catch the announcements for a couple of ways we want to challenge you to continue faithfully in your walk with the Lord.
Chris Simmons will be leading us in the following four songs with his wife Bry joining him in the final song:
GREETINGS, TESTIMONIES, SCRIPTURE & MUSIC (PART 1):
TEACHING TIME, PRAYER & ANNOUNCEMENTS (PART 2):
Suggested Questions for discussion:
What excites you most to think about the fact that one day we will be in heaven with Jesus forever where there will be no more tears, death, or pain for those who know Jesus as their Lord and Savior?
Does this hope give you a sense of urgency to share this truth with others who do not yet know Jesus Christ? Why or why not?
Who are some specific people that you can share this hope with this week? Will that be hard for you to share with them? Why or why not?
Below is a list of scripture references from the video:
